FINAL PROJECT : INFOGRAPHIC VIDEO ANIMATION
INSTRUCTION:
Based on FLIP group topic research, produce a basic video animation.
DESCRIPTION:
Using a processed design framework, you will now produce an infographic report to present the given information to a ‘target audience’ with the purpose of:
1. Creating awareness (such as Global Warming, Recycle, etc.)
2. Explaining a process (such as "how to" video)
3. Defining a concept (such as "What is Fast Fashion", "What is Color Wheel", etc.)
Any time based media and software using photography, vector imagery.
Design Considerations:
Output Expectation:
The presentation must be deliberated on, consider each assessment rubric of sorts to your final outcome:

- Show causality
- Multivariate graphics and visuals
- Integrate word number and images
- Content count
- Within eyesight
- Use multiple charts
- Do not de-quantify
FLIP PRESENTATION
Our group has chosen the topic "Color Blindness and Its Impact on Web
Accessibility," aligning with the goal of raising awareness about
important issues. As design students, we’ve noticed that color blindness
is often overlooked in discussions about design accessibility. We believe
our presentation can offer valuable insights into color blindness, helping
designers recognize the importance of creating inclusive designs.
Our group split into different tasks accordingly:

Storyboard
Here’s the storyboard we’ve developed: Our goal is to illustrate color
blindness by demonstrating how it affects vision and website
readability. Next, we’ll present statistics and information about the
different types of color blindness. Finally, we’ll explain how color
blindness impacts web accessibility and highlight what makes a website
more accessible.
Illustration Process :
In this group, my responsibility is illustration, so I started
creating some illustrations and organized them into several templates.
Final Outcome -
REFLECTION
Creating an animated infographic video on the topic of color blindness
has been a deeply insightful and rewarding experience. Through the
illustration process, I’ve had the opportunity to visually represent a
condition that affects many people, aiming to raise awareness and
enhance understanding. My goal has been to convey how color blindness
impacts daily life and to explain its different types in a clear and
engaging way.
Throughout the illustration process, I focused on balancing informative
content with visually appealing graphics. It’s been a challenge to use
color effectively, given the subject matter, but this constraint has
pushed me to be more creative with my choices. I’ve experimented with
contrast, patterns, and textures to ensure the visuals remain accessible
and engaging for all viewers, including those with color vision
deficiencies.
This project has taught me a lot about the importance of clarity in
design—how to communicate complex information simply and effectively
through visuals. It has also deepened my appreciation for inclusive
design practices and the need to consider accessibility in my work.
Overall, this infographic animation has been an invaluable learning
experience, both in terms of illustration techniques and the importance
of thoughtful, informative design.
